Hello and good evening all,

I wanted to know if anyone would be kind enough to provide me with directions on how to get to 168 Newbury Street coming from the Back Bay Amtrak/MBTA station on the Orange Line.

Thank you!

Walk down to Charles street, keep walking with the Boston Common on your left and you will come to Newbury Street. 10 Min's at most

Come out of the station onto Dartmouth street, and walk 5 blocks north. That will take you right to Newbury street. When you reach Newbury street, turn left and it will be just up on the left.

Both ariela s and Robert's answers are helpful but not quite accurate. First of all they both assume you will be exiting Back Bay Station on its Dartmouth Street side. That being assumed, and that you will walk down Dartmouth on the right hand sidewalk Newbury Street is actually your 4th intersecting street (Stuart, St. James, Boylston, then Newbury).

As for jimbo's answer, he must be in the hospital because his directions are satisfactory if one is a patient at Mass General, located a mile away.

Turn right as you come out of back bay. Walk down Dartmouth Street. Newbury street is two streets away.

The AMTRAK sta is located at Dartmouth St just before you get to the I 90 overpass. Go N on Dartmouth St about 5 blocks. When you get to Newbury St, turn L, to 168
