Going to Boston in late September to see a Redsox game. I was wondering if Faneuil Hall is "open" on Sunday or if it's not as busy. Any other Sunday suggestions. We're staying downtown.

If you are coming from out of state, be aware that Mass. has strange Sunday laws. Most stores can only open from Noon to 6 PM. Bars and restaurants are generally open regular hours. And oh yeah the packies (liquor stores) are only open from Noon to 6 also but in some cities and towns they can't open at all.

JibberJabbar gave a really good response. Also, know that weekends in autumn are always crazy here so for the "not as busy" part of your question ~ yeah. It'll be as busy. While you're down that way, grab a bite in the North End (but don't call it Little Italy; NO ONE calls it that.) Most things are open, even if it is just from 12-6.
