I'm going to raise a few things to consider. I have a good friend who lives a town over in Northboro. Keep in mind that area is one of the snowiest in the states. When we get a couple inches she gets a foot.
I agree with all the others that the closer you stay out there the more economical the rent (as the closer you get to Boston, the more it goes up).
Do you know how your time will be split? It is a really good sized commute, so that would really factor into any suggestion I made. Say you will mostly be in Boston. What you save in rent you will spend in gas and tons of commute time. Also would that snow be a concern? I'd consider it, as it is just how it is out there.
I also think I suggest a town halfway between the 2, I'd be giving you a long commute every workday of your life. Not sure that's what I would choose, especially if my time isn't split equally.
So hope this gives you something to think about and might hopefully help with a practical choice.

I'm not familiar with the complex you posted, but do know of a site where renters rate housing, and it sure didn't good feedback. I'll post the link below so you can check it out, and also check out any other large buildings you are looking at.
FYI that part of Framingham is complex after complex. I looked there many years ago and found most to be expensive and tiny. There was one with surprisingly good sized apts but I decided against living that far out of Boston, and that far away from from everything (plus one of the main things I wanted after years in Boston was to get away from traffic and that's all you hear on Rt. 9, which is where these all are on or near). This is a good location to jump on the Ma Turnpike to Boston, but it's not really a neighborhood....just a main drag with lots of complexes then lots of shopping centers. Just so you can get an idea of the area.
